Warmblood Breeding...
Elaine bred her first horse at the age of 17. “Kid” is now 35, sound,
a nd still being ridden. Since then
Benediction Farm has stood three
stallions, and recently added a frozen semen breeding program, bringing
in the best blood from around the world.
A sound mind and body are the top priorities in our breeding program.
Next is athletic ability (and beauty doesn’t hurt!). While we breed for
sane athletes with FEI Dressage potential, we make a point of using
stallions who also have great ability as jumpers, both because we want
versatile foals and because we believe that powerful hindquarters make
for better dressage horses.
Benediction Farm horses can be found from California, to Georgia, to
Vermont, to Canada. Those who have had the opportunity have been
successful as FEI competitors, while the rest have become wonderful
amateur horses. They have excelled in jumping, dressage, eventing, and
combined driving. We believe that everyone deserves a quality partner,
no matter what level you ride!
We have never had to advertise our foals and young horses as they sell
by word of mouth. We have many repeat buyers and referrals and the
older offspring are great advertising for the young ones. A great
pleasure for us is getting letters and phone calls from happy owners
telling us how much they love the horses we have bred. It happens quite
often!
